The Pasta Factory was born from a love for all things Italian and the belief that good food brings people together. We opened our first doors on Kloof Street, Cape Town in 2003, and by 2012, we’d grown into a larger production space in Maitland - giving us the freedom to expand into ready-made meals, sauces, soups, pizzas, and more.

Today, we proudly supply a wide range of products to restaurants, cafés, retailers, caterers, and wholesalers across the Western Cape. And through our website - which acts as our direct-to-customer factory store - we make it easy for individuals and families to stock up on all their favourites straight from the source.

We’re passionate about making real food for real people. From traditional classics to trend-friendly options (think gluten-free, vegan, banting, paleo - even beetroot pasta and heart-shaped pizzas!), we’re always open to ideas and love creating food that fits your life.

At the heart of it all is our commitment to simple, honest food - made well, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. From factory floor to family table, it’s all made with care.
